Lawrence Frank's Pistons aim to keep their hot shooting touch alive this weekend against two Central Division opponents.
With a respectable 6-6 record over their last 12 games, the Detroit Pistons will attempt to keep their improved level of play going strong this weekend with a pair of games against divisional opponents.
The Pistons will first welcome Tom Thibodeau's Chicago Bulls to The Palace of Auburn Hills on Friday evening for the first meeting of the season between the two organizations. Despite being one of the most talented teams in the Eastern Conference, the Bulls have struggled with consistency issues early on without the services of injured point guard Derrick Rose. Hoping to knock the Bulls to an even .500 record with a victory, the Pistons were dropped in all four appearances against Chicago last season.
Following Friday's game, the Pistons will then hit the road for a showdown with the Cleveland Cavalaiers at Quicken Loans Arena the following night. Detroit fought off the Cavaliers for a much-needed home victory on Dec. 3, and split the season series with Cleveland last year, 2-2.
